Chiropractic Care
Naturally Relieve and Prevent Back Pain
What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is a health discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those affecting the spine, pelvis, and joints. Its goal is to restore proper function of the locomotor system to relieve pain and improve mobility.
The chiropractor: a back specialist
A chiropractor is a healthcare professional trained to manage joint, muscle, and nerve pain, especially in the spine and surrounding joints.
Thanks to their university-level training, they can offer a natural, non-invasive treatment without medication, injections, or surgery.
Chiropractic treatment generally consists of precise, painless manual adjustments applied to joints or muscles to restore mobility and reduce pain.
Additionally, the chiropractor may recommend: muscle-strengthening exercises, targeted stretching, postural advice to prevent recurring neck or back pain
In various French-speaking countries, the terms chiropraticien, chiropracteur, chiropractie or chiropratique all refer to the same profession.

When should you see a chiropractor?
Chiropractors are trained to make an accurate diagnosis and determine whether a patient can benefit from chiropractic care. If there is a contraindication or a situation requiring another type of treatment, they will refer the patient to an appropriate doctor or specialist.
